Scholarship awards range from $1,500 to $5,000. Disbursement checks will be co-payable to Cal State Bakersfield

• Plan to enroll full-time at Cal State Bakersfield
• US Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA, or other Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
• Complete and submit the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• The program is open to students of all races that identify as being of Hispanic Heritage

Class Level

• High school graduating seniors - Cumulative GPA of 3.0, based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) earned from 9th grade through the first semester/term of 12th grade
• Undergraduate college students (including community college transfers) - Cumulative GPA of 2.5, based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) earned for a minimum of 12 credits 
• Graduate college students  - Cumulative GPA of 2.5, based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) earned for a minimum of 9 units/credits
